Specialist Civil Circuit Judge Appointment: Claire Jackson

The Queen has appointed Claire Jackson to be a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon, has appointed Claire Jackson to be a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge at Leeds County Court with effect from 16 November 2020.

Background information

Claire Jackson, aged 44, she will be known as Her Honour Judge Claire Jackson. She was called to the Bar (L) in 2002. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013 and as a District Judge in 2016.
