Anne Geraldine Grimes has been appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal by the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder.

The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned her to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 2 January 2020.

Anne Geraldine Grimes, aged 53, will continue to be known as Judge Grimes. She was admitted to the Roll in 1990. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2002 and appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the Upper Tribunal assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2010.
