Appointment First-Tier Tribunal Judge Immigration and Asylum Chamber (First-Tier)

Iain Burnett has been appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal by the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder.

The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 7 January 2020.

Iain Burnett, aged 50, will be known as Judge Iain Burnett. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1993. He was appointed as Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2011.
