Jonathan Austin has been appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal by the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Keith Lindblom.
The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 1 September 2021.
Jonathan Austin, aged 56, will be known as Judge Jonathan Austin. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1991. He was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011, and assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2014. He was appointed to sit in the Court of Protection in 2020.
