HM The Queen has appointed Mark Jonathan Blundell to be a Judge of the Upper Tribunal on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder.
The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 28 May 2019.

Mark Jonathan Blundell, aged 40 will be known as Upper Tribunal Judge Blundell. He was called to the Bar (I) in 2011. He was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2011 and as a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2018.
