HM The Queen has appointed Elizabeth Jane Cooke to be a Judge of the Upper Tribunal, assigned to the Lands Chamber, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder.
The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned her to the Lands Chamber with effect from 3 June 2019.

Elizabeth Jane Cooke, aged 57 will be known as Upper Tribunal Judge Cooke. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1988. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2009, as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2013. She was appointed as a Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal in the Tax and Chancery Chamber and Lands Chamber and as a Principal Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Property Chamber in 2015.
