HM The Queen has appointed Declan Mathew Denis Mark O’Callaghan to be a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable David Gauke MP, and the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder.

The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber from 28 May 2019.

Declan Mathew Denis Mark O’Callaghan, aged 48 will be known as Upper Tribunal Judge O’Callaghan. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1995 and he was appointed as a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2018.
