Appointment as a Senior Circuit Judge, Central Criminal Court: Tayton KC
The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon has appointed Her Honour Judge Tayton KC to be a Senior Circuit Judge based at Central Criminal Court, with effect from 27 April 2023.
Background Information
Lynn Tayton will continue to be known as Her Honour Judge Tayton KC. She was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1981 and took Silk in 2006. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2009 and as a Circuit Judge in 2011.
