Appointment of a High Court Judge: Sheldon KC
The King is pleased to approve the appointment of a Justice of the High Court. This appointment will take effect from 1 February 2024.
The candidate approved as a High Court Judge is Clive Sheldon KC.
This appointment will fill a vacancy in the High Court following elevations to the Court of Appeal and confirmed retirements.
Clive Sheldon KC
Clive Sheldon KC will be known as The Honourable Mr Justice Sheldon. He was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1991 and took Silk in 2011. He was appointed as a Deputy High Court Judge in 2018.
He will take up appointment on 1 February 2024.
The Lady Chief Justice will assign Clive Sheldon KC to the King’s Bench Division.
