The President of the Upper Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Chamber, The Honourable Dame Heather Williams, in exercise of the powers delegated to her by The Senior President of Tribunals, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Lindblom, has appointed Lachlan McLean to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal with effect from 1 October 2025. He has been assigned to the Property Chamber.

Lachlan McLean will be known as Judge McLean. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2005, and he was also admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2008.
