The President of the Upper Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Chamber, The Honourable Dame Heather Williams, in exercise of the powers delegated to her by The Senior President of Tribunals, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Lindblom, has appointed Sian Westby to be a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal with effect from 1 September 2025. She has been assigned to the Property Chamber.
Background Information
Sian Westby will be known as Judge Westby. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2009. She was appointed as a Chair of the Residential Property Tribunal for Wales in 2021, and in 2023, she was appointed as a Chair of the Education Tribunal for Wales. She was also appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Property Chamber, in 2024.
