The Senior President of Tribunals, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Lindblom, has appointed Elena Feeney to be a Resident Judge of the First-tier Tribunal.
The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned her to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 1 May 2024.
Background Information
Elena Feeney will be known as Resident Judge Feeney. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1999. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, in 2011 and a Fee- paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, in 2014. Between 2015-2020 she was an Associate Judge in the Sovereign Base Areas of Cyprus. She was appointed as a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, in 2018.
