The Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable David Gauke MP, has appointed Oliver Mark Hyams to be a Salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales). Oliver Mark Hyams will be assigned to the South East Region in the principal hearing centre Watford with effect from 8th July 2019.

Oliver Mark Hyams, aged 60 will be known as Employment Judge Hyams. He was Called to the Bar (M) in 1989. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) in 2000 and was authorised to sit as a Judge for the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal in 2016.
