The Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP, has appointed James Peter (Seamus) Sweeney to be a Salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales). James Peter (Seamus) Sweeney will be assigned to the North East Region in the principal hearing centre North Shields with effect from 16th September 2019.

James Peter (Seamus) Sweeney, aged 53 will be known as Employment Judge Sweeney. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1989.
