Appointment of the Admiralty Judge
The President of the Queen’s Bench Division is happy to announce that, following an Expressions of Interest exercise, Mr Justice Andrew Baker has been appointed as the Admiralty Judge with effect from 1 August 2020. The President of the Queen’s Bench Division wishes Mr Justice Andrew Baker all the best in his new role.

Mr Justice Andrew Baker was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 1988 and took Silk in 2006. He was appointed a Recorder in 2012, a Deputy High Court Judge in May 2016 and a High Court Judge in November 2016.
