Appointment of the Designated Civil Judge for Northumbria & Durham
Following an Expressions of Interest exercise, the Lady Chief Justice is pleased to announce the appointment of a Designated Civil Judge.
HHJ Mark Thomas has been appointed as the Designated Civil Judge for Northumbria & Durham with effect from 18 April 2026.
The Lady Chief Justice wishes HHJ Mark Thomas well in his new role.
