Appointment of two new Area Coroners
The Chief Coroner, Her Honour Alexia Durran, welcomes the appointment of two new Area Coroners in England and Wales.
They are:
Liverpool City Council, as the relevant authority, has appointed Helen Rimmer as Area Coroner for the Liverpool and Wirral Coroner Area with effect from 26 January 2026.
London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, as the relevant authority, has appointed Melanie Lee as Area Coroner for the West London Coroner Area with effect from 10 February 2026.
