Circuit Judge Appointment: Baddeley
The King has appointed Guy Baddeley to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Sheffield Combined Court with effect from 13 November 2023.
Guy Baddeley will be known as His Honour Judge Baddeley. He was admitted onto the Roll in 1989. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2000 and as a District Judge in 2009.
