Circuit Judge Appointment: Balogun
The King has appointed Adenike Balogun to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South-Eastern Circuit, based at Isleworth Crown Court with effect from 09 October 2023.
Adenike Balogun will be known as Her Honour Judge Balogun. She was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 1992. She was appointed a Chairman of the Employment Tribunal in 2003 as a salaried Employment Judge in 2009 and as a Recorder in 2022.
