Circuit Judge Appointment: David Potter

The Queen has appointed David Andrew Potter to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Preston Crown Court with effect from 1 July 2019.

David Andrew Potter, aged 52 will be known as His Honour Judge David Potter. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1990. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
