Circuit Judge Appointment: David Williams

The Queen has appointed David Williams to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Southampton Combined Court (and Portsmouth Combined Court) with effect from 4 March 2019

David Williams, aged 46 will be known as His Honour Judge David Williams. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005, as a District Judge in 2012 and a Recorder in 2018.
