Circuit Judge Appointment: Edge
The Queen has appointed Timothy Richard Edge to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Family and County Court with effect from 6 September 2021.
Background Information
Timothy Richard Edge, aged 52, will be known as His Honour Judge Edge. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1992. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2008.
