Circuit Judge Appointment: Gibbs
The Queen has appointed Georgina Gibbs to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Snaresbrook Crown Court with effect from 25 March 2019 on a salaried part time basis of 90%.

Georgina Gibbs, aged 41 will be known as Her Honour Judge Sharkey. She was called to the Bar (G) in 2000. She was appointed as an Assistant Coroner in 2016.
