Circuit Judge Appointment: Gilmore
The King has appointed Seanin Gilmore to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the Midlands Circuit, based at Worcester Combined Court (Crown) with effect from 4 December 2023.
Seanin Gilmore will be known as Her Honour Judge Gilmore. She was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1996. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010, as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011, as a District Judge in 2020, and authorised as a Judge of the Court of Protection in 2020.
