Circuit Judge Appointment: Harman
The King has appointed Emma Harman to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the Western Circuit, based at Portsmouth Combined Court Centre, with effect from 10 November 2025.
Background Information
Emma Harman will be known as Her Honour Judge Harman. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2003. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2022 and as a Recorder in 2023.
