Circuit Judge Appointment: Harris
The King has appointed Ian Harris to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Crown Court with effect from 16 October 2023.
Background Information
Ian Harris will be known as His Honour Judge Ian Harris. He was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1990. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2008 and as a Tribunal Judge in 2014.
