Circuit Judge Appointment: Henley
The Queen has appointed Carly Elizabeth Henley to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Newcastle Civil and Family Court with effect from 18 July 2022.
Background Information
Carly Elizabeth Henley will be known as Her Honour Judge Henley. She was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2003. She was appointed as an Assistant Coroner in 2013 and as a Recorder in 2016.
