Circuit Judge Appointment: Jackson

The Queen has appointed Martin Bowen Jackson to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.  

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Wolverhampton Combined Court and Stoke-on-Trent Combined Court with effect from 14 October 2019.

Martin Bowen Jackson, aged 60 will be known as His Honour Judge Jackson. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2005 and as a Recorder in 2009.
