Circuit Judge Appointment: Jacobs
The Queen has appointed Alexander Marc Jacobs to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Wood Green Crown Court with effect from 05 September 2022.
Background Information
Alexander Marc Jacobs will be known as His Honour Judge Jacobs. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1997. He was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011, as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates Court) in 2012, as a District Judge (Magistrates Court) in 2018 and as a Recorder in 2019.
