Circuit Judge Appointment: Kainth

The Queen has appointed Sandeep Kainth to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at St Albans Crown Court with effect from 6 December 2021.

Sandeep Kainth, aged 52, will be known as His Honour Judge Kainth. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1995. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2004 and appointed as a Fee-Paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in 2006. He was also appointed as a Recorder in 2008.
