Circuit Judge Appointment: Kember
The King has appointed Richard Kember to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Wales Circuit, based at Cardiff Crown Court with effect from 2 October 2023.
Background Information
Richard Kember will be known as His Honour Judge Kember. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1993. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019 and as a Recorder in 2019.
