Circuit Judge Appointment: Lazarus
The Queen has appointed Robert Justin Lazarus to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Maidstone Combined Court Centre with effect from 1 October 2021.
Background Information
Robert Justin Lazarus, aged 55, will be known as His Honour Judge Robert Lazarus. He was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 2004. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2018.
