Circuit Judge Appointment: MacAdam
The King has appointed Jason MacAdam to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Crown Court Minshull Street with effect from 02 October 2023.
Jason MacAdam will be known as His Honour Judge MacAdam. He was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1990. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009 and as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Restricted Patients Panel, in the Health Education and Social Care Chamber in 2018.
