Circuit Judge Appointment: Mason
The King has appointed Sunita Mason to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed her to the Midlands Circuit, based at Nottingham County Court with effect from 20 November 2023.
Background Information
Sunita Mason will be known as Her Honour Judge Mason CBE. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1994. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005, and as a District Judge in 2012.
