Circuit Judge Appointment: Menary
The King has appointed Alex Menary to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The former Lord Chief Justice deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Hull Crown Court and Leeds Crown Court with effect from 4 March 2024.

Alex Menary will be known as His Honour Judge Alexander Menary. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 2004. He was appointed as a Fee-paid First-tier Tribunal Judge, Health, Education, and Social Care Chamber in 2019, and as a Recorder in 2019.
