Circuit Judge Appointment: Pierpoint
The King has appointed Katherine Pierpoint to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Crown Court with effect from 02 October 2023.
Katherine Pierpoint will be known as Her Honour Judge Pierpoint. She was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1998. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
