Circuit Judge Appointment: Restall
The King has appointed Thomas Restall to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Aylesbury Crown Court, with effect from 1 December 2025.
Background Information
Thomas Restall will be known as His Honour Judge Restall. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2007. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019, and as a Recorder in 2022.
