Circuit Judge Appointment: Roques
The King has appointed Michael Roques to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Brandon Lewis CBE MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at St Albans Crown Centre with effect from 24 October 2022.
Michael Roques will be known as His Honour Judge Roques. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 2000. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2019.
