The Queen has appointed Helen Claire Trotter-Jackson to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Sheffield Combined Court Centre with effect from 1 August 2022.

Background Information

Helen Claire Trotter-Jackson will be known as Her Honour Judge Trotter-Jackson. She was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 2004. She was appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber in 2019, as a Recorder in 2019 and as a Deputy District Judge in 2020.
