Circuit Judge Appointment: Usher
The King has appointed Neil Usher to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Crown Court Minshull Street with effect from 02 October 2023.
Neil Usher will be known as His Honour Judge Usher. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1993. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2019.
