Circuit Judge Appointment: Walsh
The King has appointed Matthew Walsh to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midlands Circuit, based at Warwick Combined Court with effect from 30 October 2023.
Background Information
Matthew Walsh will be known as His Honour Judge Matthew Walsh. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2000. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2019.
