Circuit Judge Appointment: Yale

The King has appointed Martin Yale to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Woolwich Crown Court, with effect from 13 January 2025.

Background Information
Martin Yale will be known as His Honour Judge Yale. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2000. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Employment Judge in 2021.
