Designated Civil Judge Appointment: Luba
The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon has appointed His Honour Judge Jan Michael Andrew Luba QC to be to be a Senior Circuit Judge, Designated Civil Judge (for the civil courts in London, excluding central London County Court and Mayors and City) with effect from 1 August 2019.

Jan Michael Andrew Luba, aged 62, will remain known as His Honour Judge Luba QC. He was Called to the Bar (M) in 1980 and took Silk in 2000. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2000 and as a Circuit Judge in 2015.
