District Judge Appointment: Adcock-Jones

The King has appointed Steven Adcock-Jones to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. 

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford County Court, with effect from 7 April 2026.

Background Information

Steven Adcock-Jones will be known as District Judge Adcock-Jones. He was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2008 and admitted to the Roll as a Solicitor in 2012. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2021 and as a Fee paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, in 2024.
