District Judge Appointment: Armitage

The Queen has appointed Philip James Armitage to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Lincoln County Court and Family Court and Boston County Court and Family Court with effect from 16 September 2019.

Philip James Armitage, aged 52 will be known as District Judge Armitage. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1991. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005.
