District Judge Appointment: Berry

The King has appointed Heidi Berry to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. 

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Bury St Edmunds County Court, with effect from 1 April 2026.

Background Information

Heidi Berry will be known as District Judge Berry. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2003. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2022. She was appointed as a Fee Paid Adjudicator of the Road User Charging Tribunal in 2023. She was also appointed as a Fee Paid Adjudicator of the Environment and Traffic Tribunal in 2024.
