District Judge Appointment: Bond

The King has appointed Abigail Bond to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lammy MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. 

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at the Court of Protection, with effect from 5 May 2026.

Background Information

Abigail Bond will be known as District Judge Abigail Bond. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1999. She was appointed as a Fee paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber in 2019.
