District Judge Appointment: Bowers
The King has appointed Emma Wilcockson Bowers to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Family Court with effect from 3 February 2025.
Emma Wilcockson Bowers (formerly Emma Schofield) will be known as District Judge Bowers. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2007. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
