District Judge Appointment: Cassidy
The Queen has appointed Francis John Cassidy to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Dominic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at the Central Family Court with effect from 6 December 2021.
Background Information
Francis John Cassidy, aged 52, will be known as District Judge Cassidy. He was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2000. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2019.
