District Judge Appointment: Cockayne

The King has appointed Kerry Cockayne to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. 

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midlands Circuit, based at Wolverhampton Combined Court Centre, with effect from 18 November 2024.

Background Information

Kerry Cockayne will be known as District Judge Cockayne. She was called to the Bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2002. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2020.
